Harmon Prayer Letter
October / November 2006

 Dear Pastor and Church,

Years ago Deb and I dropped our dental coverage while living in Perú. A dentist there treated me for free (after I lead his wife to the Lord), his way of showing thanks! Lately, I have been having some dental work done. However, this next procedure has a price tag of $1,090.00. I see dental insurance on the horizon ASAP.

We have planned a 2007 Trip to Perú. We will fly out February 5th and arrive back in Amarillo on the 12th. A group from Arden Road Baptist Church plans to travel with us. Lord willing, we will visitClick Photo for a closer look many building projects financed by our Peruvian revolving loan fund and attend a special pastors meeting all day Friday. Why not make your plans to travel with us?

Negotiations have started for a church property including the parsonage. To purchase it would be a step of faith. God gave us of late 47 in attendance on Sunday morning and over 40 again for the evening service as we began our annual mission conference. We believe that we can get the two structures and repair a few things for under $140,000. Located in the middle of the Amarillo Hispanic community, it will easily seat 125. For good look check the web at:
http://www.amarillo-homes.com/html/properties_over___100_000.cfm , go to the last listing and click on “virtual tour”. Note the parsonage pictured beside the brick church with identical brick. Get a view of the inside at: http://www.amarillo-homes.com/html/630_Bivens2.cfm  Pray with us as the work grows spiritual and numerically. Thankfully we have seen baptisms as of late with more planned in the future. But, we still need your help financially to make such a purchase. Will you help us?

We have a new cell phone number: 806-336-5000, now a local Amarillo number. Give us a call!

Serving our Lord Together,

Max & Debbie Harmon
