Missionaries to Amazon Interior Brazil

April 2010

Dear Pastor & Co-Laborers in Christ,

Greetings in the Lord Jesus Christ. We hope this letter finds you well and enjoying God's richest blessings in your home and service for the Lord.

What a glorious Resurrection Sunday we enjoyed yesterday! The music and messages from God's Word encouraged our hearts and souls. He is Alive! What a blessed message we have been given to give others. We are so thankful that He lives and has promised to never leave nor forsake us! Praise the Lord!

To bring you up to date: Nancy has a hiatus hernia that she will be having surgery in May.  After that we will be able to make our plans on returning to Brazil. We praise the Lord that this is no life-threatening situation, but we feel we need to take care of it now. We have purchased the Ultra Lite and solar panels. Praise the Lord for the money that has come in for this needy equipment for the work in the Indian tribe.
We priced our tickets and cost of shipping panels and baggage. It will be much higher than I had been quoted on. We need to raise $6,000.00 in the next 4 months. Brethren, if there is any way possible that you can help us with this need, please let us know by calling cell phone: 330 871 4689, or e-mailing us at amazonhank@yahoo.com  .

We have wonderful news to an answered prayer. Nair is a nurse that works in a pharmacy that the Mantonya, Radak and Campbell families usually goes to before going to a doctor. She patiently and lovingly gives medical advice, sutures cuts and has been a friend. We have witnessed to her for over 10 years about her need for the Saviour. Through a couple extreme circumstances this past year - her husband killed in their home, and she being beaten up recently our daughters Jayme Radak and Robin Campbell asked if she didn't think the Lord was trying to show her something. She agreed to them going to her house to talk to her.
As Jayme talked Robin prayed and Robin talked Jayme prayed, and when they asked "DO YOU WANT TO BE SAVED NOW?" she said "that is the only thing left for me to do." Her prayer was simple and beautiful, "I have searched for you for 39 years and now I have found you. I want you to be my God, my King, my Father."
As she prayed the weight of guilt of sin and unbelief was lifted, and God became not only her creator, but Savior and Comforter. It was a beautiful new birth and we rejoice in it. Continue to pray for Nair (Nigh-air) as she is still going through a lot, but we thank the Lord that now she can lean on Him.
Some sow and some water, but God gives the increase. We are so thankful that Nair is now a  sister in Christ!

Thank you so much for your faithful prayer support. We appreciate you so very much!
In His Service for Souls,
Henry and Nancy Mantonya
