Dear Friends,

Recently we baptized 8 adults into the membership of our church. These are people who have been won to Christ here with us, which is true of the great majority of our members. In the weeks preceding their baptism, each one gave an excellent testimony to the church concerning a real experience of salvation. I was deeply impressed how confident they were about how they were saved, and that Christ had saved them forever.

We also had another baptism . . . A bit unorthodox . . .unauthorized . . . So unscriptural . . . But also so funny that we had no problems to solve because of it!!

You often wonder how much kids are understanding . . . The following is proof that they listen to some of what is said, even when it appears they aren´t.

While at their aunt´s house playing in a very small pool in the back yard, six year old Nataly, who was saved a few weeks ago, asked her brother, Israel, to "baptize" her. According to the aunt, he went through all the motions including placing her hands on his arm and immersing her. She will be scripturally baptized soon!
