Dear Friends,
Carnival is over for another year. This year we did
something different. We combined our normal potluck dinner
with a work day. While the women stayed home fixing food,
a group of young people and some of our men met at the church to
do some much need repair work, in preparation to paint the
entire building and surrounding wall. Several of the young
people have been working each Saturday morning, sanding the
wrought iron and the walls, getting them ready. We are
having a campaign to raise money for this and by the time
everything is ready to paint, we will have enough to pay for
everything. We are praising the Lord for this willingness
to work on the house of the Lord (Nehemiah 4:6). Pictures
of the finished will follow in an upcoming letter.
