Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

The national missionary, Denilson da Silva, whom we support, always has a good yearly report. In a recent letter, Denilson mentions 11 baptisms in 2009. He also reports a new building they raised in another location, all part of his ministry. He and his family labor in the Backlands, a very difficult area of Brazil.

As well as monthly support, we send him a special offering at the end of each year: Coins for missions. If we raised an extra missions offering, it would not be much, but the people seem to enjoy going forward to put their coins in a big jar. This year is low, but went at that, we are sending him $500.00.

Pray for Denilson´s ministry.

In past letters, we have asked your prayer for two young men. Sandani, who fell from the roof of his mother-in-law´s house, and Esténio, who is unsaved. We had requested prayer for Sandani´s recovery from the fall and also for his spiritual growth. He is completely recovered from the fall and is continuing to grow spiritually. Even though Esténio has not been saved, he is showing more interest. Now we would like to add some more names for prayer for salvation, four more young men and Sandani´s wife, Diane. The four young men are Daniel, Henrique, Alaôr José, and Leonardo. Esténio, Daniel and Diane are coming to services. Please pray that we will see them saved soon.
