Dear Friends,

We won Jovelina and her two children to Christ a few years ago.
Her husband, Valdivino, has shown a complete indifference to the
Gospel all this time. Recent events may have the man
thinking.
Some time in the past, Valdivino was bitten by a "barber bug"
(which is described in my Feb/Mar ´04 letter). All of the
medical exams point to this insect as responsible for the man's
present condition: an enlarged heart which worsens as time goes
by.
There isn't, as such, a "cure". There are medicines to
relieve some of the symptoms. Some people respond to
treatment. Most don't.
Valdivino is not saved. He works on a farm that is quite a
distance from his family. He spends most of his time
there. |
Pray: That he will come home
more often. At home, with this dread sickness, he will be
in the church services.
Pray: That he will be genuinely
saved.
Pray: That he will be spared to
serve the Lord with us several more years.
