December 2006

Dear Praying Friends,

I’m excited to announce that I arrived safely in Bolivia on Wednesday, December 13, 2006.  Other than a slight delay, there were no problems with my flight.  I’m very thankful that all of my luggage also arrived with me.  All is going well here.  For now I’m staying with Missionaries Jeff and Sandra Price and their family until I can find a place to live.  I will be helping them in their church here in Cochabamba.

On the flight down from Miami, I had the privilege to witness to a Bolivian young man who now lives and works in Washington, DC.  He asked me several questions, and opened the door for me to present the plan of salvation.  He did not accept Christ, but a seed was planted.  I gave him the name and address of a church near Washington, DC.  Please pray that Gastón will remember what I told him and find the church when he gets back to Washington.

I am still awaiting a small shipment of boxes that I sent air freight just before I left the states.  The shipment was supposed to arrive in 5 days, however, there has been a delay and it is now due to arrive on Christmas Eve.  Please pray that this shipment arrives safely, as there are important items in it that will help in the ministry here.
