Dear Praying Friends,

I know this is a long overdue update.  Thank you for your prayers and support over the past few months.  The Lord is at work in Bolivia, and it’s exciting to be a part of it!

Iglesia Baustista Bíblica Filipos
This is our main church in Cochabamba.  In June we decided to move to a different church building.  Our previous building was on a side street and hard to find.  The new location is on a corner, across from a park, and is very visible.  However, the new building needed a lot of work to be ready to use.  So, for 2-3 weeks we worked long and hard, sanding, painting, cleaning, and putting up a roof to get this building ready, and had our first service in it the last Sunday of June.

New Ministry in Pampa San Miguel
This is our newest ministry going in the area of the city dump.  The area used to be known as Tamborada, but now has a new name, Pampa San Miguel.  We started this ministry with a movie night on May 31^st.  Every Thursday we are taking an evangelistic movie to show to the people.  In the future we plan to start a church in this area.  The people have been very receptive so far.

This is a very poor area.  At present, there is no electricity or running water.  To set up our equipment to show movies and have a speaker, we needed a generator.  I sent an email a few weeks ago raising funds to buy the generator for this ministry.  Praise the Lord the funds have come in already, and the generator has been purchased! 

Praise and Prayer Request
After several months I have received my one year visa and also my Bolivian ID Card.  This was a long and expensive process, but I thank the Lord that everything was approved.  I will be able to apply for a two year visa when this one expires next March. 

Please pray for my mother, Barbara Sanders.  Her health is continuing to fail with the Alzheimer’s Disease.  She is now on Hospice care.  We are praying that her last days will be comfortable and not painful.
