APRIL 2007
Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you for your prayer and financial support for the work in
Argentina! Our summer flew by with many activities and was very full and
busy.
JANUARY:
Summer began with us working at Camp (cleaning, cutting grass & more
cleaning and cutting grass). We had our 4th youth camp with a total of
26, many making decisions to be a witness to their family and friends.
We ended January trying to get everything ready for the beginning of our
Bible College.
FEBRUARY:
Saw the beginning of the Seminario Bautista Bíblico de Rosario, the
college, with 5 full-time students. We started with 2 days of
orientation and the next week with our first 2 classes: Prison
Epistles & Old Testament Survey. We have seen a very good spirit
among the students and a desire to learn. The students have added
vitality to the church youth program where they are helping while
studying.
Also we’ve seen an increase in attendance in all of our church services
and received 6 people into the membership of the church.
MARCH: We
continued to see an increase in our church attendance with a high of 91
in Sunday school. We baptized 4 people and received 3 into membership of
the church. We also had our Missions Conference and took up our new
Faith Promise Offering commitments. Praise the Lord for the faith of our
people who increased their Faith Promise by 59%. This will allow us to
raise the support of 4 missionaries that we already support and take on
two new missionaries.
Construction continues at our Camp & Training Center and we are thankful
for those of you who have sent special offerings for this project. We
are trusting to be able to finish the married dorm before we need it
this June!
As you can see, your prayers are being answered here in Argentina. Thank
you again for partnering with us in this great country that is in
desperate need of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May God bless us as we
work together to reach the world for our Savior.
