Marilyn has returned to a ministry she had in decades past.
She has been teaching children in Pedreira. To the right,
are some boys holding charts she prepared with John 3:16.
The kid holding up the last portion was hurt in a bike-car
accident, he survived but had hip surgery. Appreciate your
prayer for Nathan.
Two of the five boys have made a profession of faith in
Christ.

My last days in Brazil before my safe flight
stateside were hectic. I helped a pastor to build a roof
over a portion of the front of the parsonage in Pedreira. We
used a portion of the funds that came in from our plea from
newsletter # 161.
I retired my work clothes I used these past 10 months during
the phase to fix-up the church and parsonage. We will still
have some things to work on after this short furlough.

One of the highlights in January was the
opportunity to give the charge to the graduating students of
the Bible Institute in Campinas. Also, Marilyn and I enjoyed
our youngest daughter's trip back to Brazil. Amy was back
where she was born for the first time in three years. She
used her skills as a hairdresser to minister to the church
family. We had two Saturdays, when she offered haircuts and
trims to those who accepted the invitation to come to the
church. (photo to the right) As we begin yet another year in
the Task, we want to express our thanks for your partnership
in the Task of Missions. Thank you Much!
Best wishes in life and labor in 2008,
