Your messengers "Trasks for the Task" in Brazil
As I prepared to write another letter at the Christmas
season, I looked at several letters I have sent your way at
this time of year. It brought to my mind many memories and
emotions as we prepare for yet another Christmas season
overseas.
Thank you very much for the love shown in behalf of missions
by each one in the church family! As I consider the phrase
on this Christrnas stationary, I am reminded of Luke 2:1-14
when a multitude of the heavenly host praised God, saying
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will
toward men." We still have many to reach with the
Tidings of a Glorious Saviour! Below are some students
(including 2 of the 3 graduates) you have helped us to
teach: Alizmar, Marcio, Altair, Isaisas, Ediverson,
Alexandre, Marcia (not pictured, Josue) and Veronica. 1st
B.B.C. of Garden Amanda had the privilege of being the
church home of Veronica, the first graduate of the newly
established Bible Baptist Seminary in Pouso Alegre, Minas
Gerias.

Some of the highlights include helping the church in Amanda
host a state pastors meeting. We invited a pastor from the
states to be the speaker, but it did not work out. I ended
up speaking,
We had the annual business meeting in Pedreira. It was not
what we had hoped for after 10 months laboring there. We
still have not seen an increase-in adult attendance. We have
tried to emphasize the need of salvation and Christian
growth. We're still planting but have not reaped yet. Our
short furlough is getting closer and we've reserved round
trip plane tickets. The Lord has not YET shown us who should
fill in the gap during our furlough. If you want us to
report back, please contact us by e-mail at
