Our ministry is primarily involved in church planting and leadership training.  Our fist church plant began in March of 1995 and after years of training, the national pastor was installed in November of 2006.  Our goal is to continue with the church until the building project is completed. 

While under our administration the church developed various ministries of outreach to the community.  The Children’s Bible Club has been an effective outreach to children and a practical training ground for the young people for service.  The Virtue Club is a character curriculum developed to present in the public schools and has been well received by six different schools. 

For various years Ed has helped teach in a local Bible institute founded by Carlos Arce, a BIMI (Baptist International Missions, Inc.) missionary.  Burdened for the churches in Venezuela that do not have the resources or faculty to have their own Bible institute, Ed is developing an institute by extension whereby a network of pastors and missionaries travel to the churches to teach intensive theological courses.  A modular institute by extension seems to be a viable and practical alternative to provide theological education to students in the far reaches of the country.
